AI- Image project

THE PROJECT

Constructed Truths: An Ethnographic Exploration of Erasure, Memory, and Collective Fiction is my Master’s thesis exploring how societies construct and sustain their own versions of truth through shared narratives, myths, systems, and collective memory. Drawing on anthropology and artistic research, the project questions whose stories become part of our shared history—and whose are overlooked, altered, or erased.

THE OUTCOME

The research culminated in the creation of a fictional society and its imagined archival traces, exploring the shifting boundaries between fact and fiction, memory and forgetting, and structure and chaos. One outcome was a photobook featuring AI-generated imagery that visualizes this constructed society, blurring the line between historical documentation and invented memory.
